"I'm not sure where to start. Everything about Myakka was wonderful! The people are some of the most inviting and welcoming people I've ever encountered. The resort is beautifully landscaped and every spot offers views of one of 3 lakes, the river or a nature view. All of the lots are owner owned and some offer more than others. Our lot owner also had an adjacent lot with a casita, stopping by once we got set up to make sure we didn't need anything. The resort offers a beautiful pool area, a hot tub, a gym, pickleball and a neat little boardwalk where you might see some dolphin, stingrays, snooke, sheepshead, etc. You'll also see gators, turtles and tons of birds along the lakes."

“Sitting here at the pool/spa as I write this review on a gorgeous Florida day, wondering does it really get any better than this? The first minute we arrived, we were treated as if we were family! The people and amenities are unbeatable. Warm pool and hot tub are my favorite, but so is walking around meeting new people and seeing views that are breathtaking everywhere you look - beautiful flowers, trees, landscaping alone is gorgeous not to mention the wildlife that you will encounter.”

"This resort is well maintained with beautiful, large, level sites. The resort is on the Myakka River and close to the Gulf and many amazing beaches. Absolutely gorgeous sunset views. The Resort has a very nice clubhouse and every day is packed with activities during the winter months. There is a large pool and a workout room. There are 5 pickleball courts and a very active pickleball community. Lots of shopping and great restaurants nearby. This is the friendliest park I have ever been to. We love it at this resort."

"We stayed here for 2 weeks and made a 3 week reservation for next year. This is a small resort but sites are very spacious and private with lots of green space. All sites are paved. Two large dog parks kept our dogs very happy. Located right on the river, the pier and boardwalk make wildlife viewing so easy and the clubhouse is lovely. It has an upper level that’s perfect for watching those colorful sunsets. The people were so friendly, and there are plenty of activities. We liked the close proximity to bike trails and fishing."
